We are excited to launch our School Club Competition series! School clubs, groups or chapters of local or national organizations are welcome to participate. This first competition will be focused on Social Impact.

Any school club or group that has interest and experience in developing social impact projects will benefit from joining this unique contest. The total Prize Pool is set at $250+. For successful projects that are looking to scale beyond their existing community, RoundPier will offer marketing credits on our platform as well as access to our Advisory Team working with students on a variety of initiatives.

RULES (please read carefully):

1. There is no registration fee to enter the competition.

2. Minimum of 3 club members must be registered on RoundPier (join here if you aren’t a RoundPier member yet).

3. You can be based anywhere in the world. Each school can have more than one club participating in the competition.

4. A team must create a private RoundPier club: go to Groups & Clubs — -> Create New School Club or Chapter. One team member must create the club and then invite the other members (message RoundPier Team or email us at info@roundpier.com if you have any issues registering).

5. Any school club or organization chapter interested in working on social impact projects are welcome to participate.

6. You will have until April 18th to create a club/chapter and add it to the competition: go to Competitions under Groups & Clubs and select School Club Face Off — Social Impact.

7. Representatives from all teams will be asked to participate in the kick-off call in late April, date and time TBC.

8. The task for the teams is to develop a social impact project that can be implemented on a small scale initially (assuming up to $250 in funding is available).

The mission of your work should be to create a unique initiative that can help your community (i.e. school, town etc.) and possibly beyond.

The final product should be 4–5 page PowerPoint presentation and short video (optional) that answers the question: “With $250, our club would…”

9. The clubs must submit their final presentations by May 16th. The finalists will be selected based on the uniqueness of their idea, quality of the presentation, impact characteristics, research & development work put into the project, and its scalability.

10. The finalist will be invited to the live presentation event at the end of May. The winner will be selected based on a combination or your work and presentation.
